Wanted woman arrested in Kelowna after allegedly stealing from senior

A wanted woman has been arrested in Kelowna. 

The 34-year-old is alleged to have stolen from a senior in Kelowna on Friday, Nov. 13.

Mounties were called at 10 am to a business in the 1800 block of Cooper Road.

The woman was found in a nearby parking lot.

“Mounties identified the woman and determined that she was in fact wanted in British Columbia on several outstanding arrest warrants, mostly related to property crime offences,” police explained. 

She had in her possession identity documents that were stolen from the purse of an 82-year-old woman, the RCMP added. 

The woman had been shopping at the business on Cooper Road just before the suspect’s arrest.
