Believe it or not, the 2024 Okanagan golf season is right around the corner.
Central Okanagan courses will slowly start to open up in March and April, but if you have the itch to get out and hit some balls, you can already do so at multiple driving ranges.
Kelowna Driving Range, The Golf Centre on Benvoulin and the driving range at Two Eagles Golf Course have all opened this week.
Here are the hours for each:
- Kelowna Driving Range: Open 10 am until 6 pm daily, with the exception of Sunday when the range closes at 5 pm. The last bucket is sold 45 minutes before close.
- The Golf Centre: Open daily from 10 am until 4 pm, weather permitting. The range has requested that people don’t hit clubs more than 165 yards as they recently reseeded their back area.
- Two Eagles: Open daily at 9 am with the last buckets being sold at 5 pm.
Two Eagles Golf Course is typically the first Central Okanagan track to open each spring and that usually happens in the first half of March.
In 2023, the West Kelowna course opened on March 11 and with the mild winter we’ve had, it could be even earlier this time around.
