The Okanagan has had more water quality changes over the last few days.

Here's a list of the updated advisories throughout the Okanagan.

Boil Water Notice for Sunset Ranch

The Regional District of the Central Okanagan (RDCO) issued a Boil Water Notice for all residents from the Sunset Ranch Water System in the Central Okanagan East Electoral Area.

The notice was issued on June 21st and affects 275 properties.

"Interior Health has been contacted and we've taken steps to alert affected customers after routine testing found some bacterial results in samples at the reservoir.  While there's no evidence the reservoir has been accessed our staff found some vandalism to the gate to the system reservoir.   In order to protect the safety of system customers, we've implemented the Boil Water Notice until the reservoir can be flushed and testing is done to prove any bacterial contamination has been removed and water quality is restored," said Bruce Smith, communications officer for the RDCO.

The Boil Water Notice remains in effect until further notice.

"Until further notice affected residents should boil any water used for drinking, cooking, washing produce or fruit, making beverages and ice or brushing teeth for at least one minute or secure an alternate source of safe drinking water such as bottled or distilled water," said Smith.

Star Place Boil Water Notice Lifted

After consulting with Interior Health, the RDCO has lifted the Boil Water Notice. Residents of the Star Place Water System in the Central Okanagan West Electoral Area have been under a Boil Water Notice since May 24th.

The water system, which serves eight properties on Star Place off Trepanier Road, near the Okanagan Connector (HWY 97C) is now back to normal and safe to drink.

The water is deemed safe to drink under the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality.

The Boil Water Notice was lifted on June 21st.

Water Quality Advisory Lifted for Falcon Ridge Customers

The Water Quality Advisory for Falcon Ridge Customers has been lifted in the Central Okanagan East Electoral Area.

The Water Quality Advisory was lifted on June 15th.

Killiney Beach and Westshore Water Quality Advisory

The RDCO downgraded a previous Boil Water Notice to a Water Quality Advisory for residents in Killiney Beach and Westshore Estates water systems on May 18th.

Each system serves about 250 properties.
