A staple of the Kelowna music scene has received international recognition.
Wentworth Music, located at 1634 Harvey Ave., has been named a Top 100 Dealer by the National Association of Music Merchants.
The award honours retailers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their stores, neighbourhoods and customers, as well as share in a vision to create a more musical world.
“I jumped up and down with the news that we have been placed in the Top100 in the World!” exclaimed Noel Wentworth, Vice-President of Education and Media at Wentworth Music.
“We truly could not have done this without our community's support.”
In addition to the Top 100 honour, Wentworth is in the running to receive a best of award in one of seven categories.
Those categories include customer service, innovation, music advocacy, store design, marketing, and sales promotions and are scored in accordance to determine the Top 100 list.
The coveted Dealer of the Year award will go to one of the recipients in the aforementioned categories.
