When Andrew Buckley released his first novel in 2016, he never expected it would be picked up by Scholastic Book Clubs or that he would find himself speaking to thousands of students about storytelling and writing.

Hair in All the Wrong Places takes your imagination to places you always wanted to go. Supernatural characters with strengths and weaknesses and budding relationships between boy and girl. Buckley adds just the right touch of humour and he allows readers to connect with the characters.

Teen years can be troublesome sometimes, (well most of the time), but novels like this are what keep us laughing and believing that everything will be OK.

“It’s fun to be able to continue this series,” says Buckley of the sequel. “Exploring the growing world of Elkwood alongside advancing Colin and Becca’s story as they fight through the challenges of not only being teenagers, but also dealing with their own unique supernatural strengths and weaknesses was something I jumped at.”

The first ‘Hair in All the Wrong Places’ novel, detailing the story of teen werewolf Colin Strauss, was published in July 2016.

As an author, professional writer, podcaster, husband, father, and speaker, Buckley has no shortage of things to do and is currently working on a new YA science-fi adventure series, an MG paranormal adventure, and the third book in the popular werewolf series, which will be released in Fall 2018.

Hair in All the Wrong Places 2 is available in bookstores and Buckley will be signing copies today at Chapters Kelowna, at Orchard Park Mall from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
