The storefront of City Pizza was vandalized today.

Just before noon, two patrollers with the Downtown Kelowna Association witnessed an individual smash two windows attached to City Pizza on the corner of Leon Avenue and Pandosy Street.

The red-jacketed patrollers happened to be standing across the street when the event took place and called the RCMP immediately.

RCMP arrived shortly after noon, attempting to get in touch with the alarm company.

No other information was provided.

The owner of City Pizza was not available for comment.

The pizza outlet is expected to open today at 4 p.m. and run until 3 a.m.

Police were called to the Leon Avenue and Pandosy Street area earlier this morning due to a fight that had occurred.
