And that's a wrap!

We would like to thank everyone who has helped out with Kelowna Santas this year! Together we helped support over 400 families and 1,000 kids. Each year we are incredibly grateful for the help of our community and this year is no different.

Kelowna Santas 2022

The endless list of everyone involved is truly amazing, but here are a few special mentions:

Thank you Kelowna Toyota for sponsoring Kelowna Santas for the third consecutive year and hosting the wrap party this year. Their venue helped us keep everything in order whilst all our volunteers wrapped and delivered the gifts. In addition, their monetary donations helped us buy gifts for the older kids who we often struggle to collect donations for.

Bondslaves made a huge donation of toys and $2,000 cash, which really helped us fill the gaps for the age ranges that we needed more gifts for.

Thank you to TD for sponsoring for the seventh year and donating $5,000. We are so grateful for your continued support each year.

We also want to commend all the businesses who acted as drop locations to collect toys throughout December, and for Secure Rite-Mobile Storage for being our drop location sponsor. You have helped bring joy to many families in our community this season!

In addition, we would like to thank the Great Little Box Company/ Ideon Packaging for providing our printed boxes, which we use each year to collect gifts and toys for children.

These boxes were picked up by the team at theTotal Restoration, which we really appreciated and helped us out tremendously.

A special thank you to Doris and all her calligraphers who took the time to handwrite the Kelowna Santas tag for every child registered. They really helped make the presents extra special.

Thank you to every single person who donated gifts and money to Kelowna Santas. It's really amazing to see what we can do as a community when we all come together. We were able to support hundreds of families again this year and look forward to doing it all again next holiday season.

And of course, a big thank you to Nikki and Jim Csek from KelownaNow and Csek Creative for starting this program 10 years ago. They helped build the foundation, which enabled Kelowna Santas to grow throughout the community each year and help more and more families in need.

Finally, a massive thank you goes out to our head elf, Alexa, from KelownaNow whose hard work and dedication to support as many children as possible each year is admirable. Her efforts do not go unnoticed, and the part she plays in the community is huge!

Her positivity, alongside the help of her reindeer, helps keep this program running with great success.

The positive impact this has on our community reminds us why we love doing this and continue to do this each year.

Despite the weather conditions this past weekend, we were so happy with the turnout of volunteers who helped wrap and deliver gifts.

We look forward to doing this all again next year.

Thank you, and happy holidays!
