Congratulations to our randomly selected winner!

Cora Breakfast and Lunch is giving you the gift of good taste!

Enter to win two $50 Cora loyalty cards below, but before you do, take a look at some of the wonderful Cora creations you can enjoy, get to know their history and while you're at it, meet the team of the locally owned and operated restaurant in Kelowna.

Cora has conjured up more than 100 menu ideas that will help you please everyone, even your picky little eaters.

Mothers can rejoice that Cora has put a twist on breakfast and lunch by adding a vibrant variety of fruit on top of almost every dish. Cora restaurants are famous for their breakfasts, boasting mounds of fresh fruit artfully prepared by specially trained on-site “fruiters.”

By artfully placing fresh fruit atop these creations, even the pickiest of eaters won't be able to resist feasting on French toast, crêpes or Cora's signature eggs Ben et Dictine (Eggs Benedict).

Did you know that Cora Breakfast and Lunch is a Canadian restaurant that originated in Montreal?

And it's actually a pretty cool story too.

It began when the founder, Madame Cora Tsouflidou, created the concept in 1987.

At the time, Madame Cora was a single mother of three. In need of a career so she could provide for and feed her family, she bought a small abandoned diner in Montreal’s Saint-Laurent district. Focusing solely on breakfast, Cora would specialize in a vast selection of egg dishes, fresh fruit creations, omelettes, Eggs Benedict topped with creamy hollandaise sauce, waffles and French toast.

As you can imagine, the restaurant quickly became the talk of the town.

Drawing inspiration from family tradition, customer requests and any wild idea her children could dream up, this culinary magician ended up creating a whole new breakfast concept in Quebec and since opening her first restaurant, Madame Cora has changed the eating habits of an entire generation.

From feeding her family to feeding yours, you can always count on Cora Breakfast and Lunch to coincide with healthy eating.

By visiting communities and remaining involved in the creation of new dishes, Madame Cora has become the consummate businesswoman that the team at Cora Kelowna is proud to represent.

Cora Kelowna, an establishment that is locally owned and operated, can count on its dedicated team to be active in its community too.

As a proud sponsor of the YMCA Healthy Kids Day and the Kelowna Rockets, Cora Kelowna has school lunch programs, makes frequent charitable donations and source their fruits locally to support farmers and small, independent businesses in our region.

On top of that, they are holding an inaugural food drive with the Central Okanagan Food Bank during the entire month of February 2020, where Cora Kelowna will donate cash to “match” each piece of non-perishable food item donated in-restaurant. This definitely sounds like something we'll be keeping an eye out for too.

The friendly and smiley faces you see above are the local visionaries behind Cora Kelowna's charitable efforts and they're the team who prepares the many colourful creations and gluten-sensitive options, as well as dairy-sensitive ones, at Cora Breakfast and Lunch.

Open Monday to Saturday at 6 am and at 7 am on Sunday, the team at Cora Kelowna invites you to see why Madame Cora was able to change the eating habits of a generation. Cora's lunch menu is offered weekdays starting at 11 am and served with either the dessert of the day or homemade soup made fresh each day.
