Jr Heat Volleyball brings home gold and silver medals from Nationals

The U18 Jr Heat volleyball team battled for three days vs the top Division 1 teams from across Canada and earned a gold medal in Division 1, Tier 4. 

The U18 Volleyball Canada National Championships were held May 12-14 at the Enercare Centre in Toronto.

The team would like to thank their coaches Darrin Moreira, Taylor Verboom, Becki Kosinski and the Jr Heat families for all the support in their memorable last season of Club Volleyball. 

Coach Moreira added though it is really great to end on a win, he is even prouder of these athletes and their body of work this season. 

This team is incredible and we wish them all the best in their bright futures ahead.

The U17 Jr Heat Girls also kept pace with the top teams in the country and brought home a silver medal in Division 2, Tier 2 at their National Championship, held May 9-11 at the Enercare Centre in Toronto.

The team would like to thank their coaches Becki Kosinski, Amber McNicol and the team families for their amazing support this season!
