It was the perfect way to end the season for Big White’s Kelsey Serwa.

The 29-year-old topped the podium at the Canadian Ski Cross Championships in Banff.

"It’s always nice to wrap up the season with a fun race and a solid performance and that was exactly what happened this past weekend at Sunshine Resort for Canadian Nationals," Serwa said.

“I feel fortunate to end my 10th season racing ski cross 100% healthy and with two more victories under my belt."

The other victory Serwa is alluding to happened the day before in the NorAm race.

Both times, she was joined on the podium by Whistler’s Marielle Thompson and Edmonton’s Abby McEwen.
