With all 12 players scoring at least two points, the Coyotes opened the two-game set at Kelowna Secondary School with a 101-88 win on Friday while 10 players chipped in as OC improved to 4-4 in its inaugural season by defeating CBC 67-61 on Saturday.

Curtis Wilson scored 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the Coyotes in the opener while Immaculata High School grad, Michael Gini, found net on five of 11 three-point shots for his 15 points. Matt Lafontaine, running the same court on which he starred for the Kelowna Owls in high school, chipped in with 14 points, six of which came from beyond the arc.

The Coyotes took a 26-19 lead in the first quarter and were ahead 58-51 at the half. They pulled away in the third quarter outscoring the Bearcats 26-16.

On Saturday, OC again utilized its entire lineup, with 10 of the 12 Coyotes making a mark on the scoresheet.
