The Okanagan Sun continues their impressive season and their players are starting to get recognition.

Two of the men were named "Players of the Week" recently for their efforts against the Vancouver Island Raiders last Saturday.

Malcolm Miller was named Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this year. Donovin Small was also named the Co-Special Teams Player of the Week.

Miller got the award after he rushed the ball for 295 yards in the Sun's 70 to 25 win over the Raiders. He surpassed the Sun all-time record for most rushing yards in a single season during that game.

Small ran back a 125-yard missed field goal for his first touchdown of the year. That scamper tied the all-time longest run back of a kick-off or field goal in BCFC history. He also acquired 39 more yards on three punt returns.

The Sun will play the Langley Rams at the Apple Bowl on Saturday at 4 pm. There is a costume contest with prizes during the game.
