Okanagan athletes perform well at Las Vegas competition

Athletes from the Okanagan Gymnastics Centre are celebrating after a successful trip to Las Vegas. 

The Kelowna-based club was competing in the Lady Luck Invitational on Jan. 17. 

More than 1,600 athletes were in attendance – with seven from the Okanagan. 

Teya Renou, who competed in the level three category, came fourth overall. 

Caitlin Feeler came second overall in the level seven category, while Melani Ritchie was third and Katie Flaten and Rae Rowarth both finished inside the top 10.

Jessica Ionce, meanwhile, came third overall as a level eight competitor. 

Veronica Tarasenco finished in the top 10 among level nine competitors.
