The Rutland Voodoos and Kelowna Owls return to the Apple Bowl on Friday with hopes of continuing their winning ways in the B.C. Secondary Schools Football Association.

Holding down first place in the AAA Pacific Division South with a 3-0 record,  the Voodoos will play host to the Sardis Falcons (2-1) beginning at 4 p.m. while the Owls, 2-2 in the Eastern Conference, meet the visiting Mission Roadrunners (1-3) starting at 6:30 p.m.

The Voodoos are coming off an 85-20 waltz by the West Vancouver Highlanders at the start of the Thanksgiving weekend and the Owls handed the Centennial Centaurs of Coquitlam their fourth straight loss with a 71-0 whitewash later on Friday.

Meanwhile at the Mar Jok field in West Kelowna on Saturday, the host Mt. Boucherie Bears (2-1) — who are taking on the undefeated W.J. Mouat Hawks in Abbotsford (2-0) this week — fell 26-20 to the Eric Hamber Griffins of Vancouver  (1-2) on Saturday.

Here’s some of the action from the Mt. Boucherie and KSS games. More photos (185) can be found on the KelownaNowSports Facebook page.
