Kelowna's own Megan Osland is on an absolute tear.

For the third time since the start of the calendar year, Osland was victorious on the Cactus Tour again with a win at Apache Creek Golf Club this week.

She improved by a single shot every round, shooting 69-68-67 (-12 total) en route to a four shot win over Yiyi Liu, who played on the Japanese LPGA Tour in 2022.

Osland led Liu by two shots heading into Thursday’s final round, but got off to a hot start to extend her lead.

She drained a 30-foot birdie putt on the first hole before knocking her approach shot to three feet and making a second straight birdie on two.

The Kelowna Secondary School grad added three more birdies and a bogey on the front nine and made the turn with a six-shot lead on Liu.

With a large lead, Osland cruised to victory with a pair of birdies and a bogey on the back nine to claim her third title of 2023.

After a few days of rest, Osland will begin preparation for her next tournament, a Women’s All Pro Tour event at the Beau Chene Country Club on the Oak Course in Mandeville, Louisiana from April 4-7.
