The West Kelowna Warriors were in action on Friday, this time missing a number of players while taking on the Victoria Grizzlies.

A hot start helped West Kelowna notch a 4-1 over the bears. Alexi Van Houtte-Cachero started the scoring for the team with a nice rebound goal.

Victoria would get one back before the period ended to tie it up.

The second frame was all West Kelowna. Van Houtte-Cachero would restore the lead with his second of the night.

It wasn't all good news in the second as Nick Roukounakis took a hard hit behind the net, causing him to leave the game with an upper-body injury.

In the third, Tyler Cristall would add the dagger with a power play goal. With the net empty and on the man advantage, the Grizzlies would accidentally put it into their own net to seal the win.

The Warriors close out their BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack Saturday afternoon against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. Puck drop is at 4:00 pm from the Chilliwack Coliseum.
