The West Kelowna Warriors were in action on Friday, this time taking on the Trail Smoke Eaters.

West Kelowna couldn't solve the strong Trail goaltending, dropping the game 4-0.

It was an even first period as both Johnny Derrick and Evan Fredette stopped all eight shots they faced to keep the game at zeros. It looked as though the second would be scoreless too, though Quinn Disher put one home with 66 seconds left and Teddy Lagerbeck got another with just 23 seconds to go.

Trail would add two more in the third period to seal the game. The Warriors outshot the Smoke Eaters 30 to 28 on the night.

West Kelowna is back in action next week when they travel to Merritt to take on the Centennials on Wednesday.

Puck drop is at 7 pm.
