We’re just over three months away from what will hopefully be the first full WHL season in three years.
Today, the league unveiled the Western Conference regular season schedule for the highly-anticipated 2021-22 regular season, which will begin on Friday, Oct. 1.

All five BC Division teams will start the season the following night, which includes a pair of divisional matchups:
- Kamloops Blazers @ Prince George Cougars (7 pm)
- Vancouver Giants @ Victoria Royals (7:05 pm)
- Everett Silvertips @ Kelowna Rockets (7:05 pm)
The annual Christmas break starts after games are completed on Sunday, Dec. 19, with teams returning to action on Monday, Dec. 27.
The season will wrap up on Sunday, April 3, with the league’s first playoff action since 2019 beginning in the days to follow.
As always, most games will be played on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays this year.
