The West Kelowna Warriors have given a boost to their forwards with a Thursday afternoon trade.

West Kelowna has acquired veteran forward Trevor Adams, 20, from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in exchange for future considerations.

Adams played the last two seasons with the Silverbacks, a divisional rival of the Warriors, and tallied 44 points in 60 games last year.

“Trevor adds veteran experience to our group,” said Brandon West, Warriors head coach and GM.

“He’s a tenacious player that can contribute to our offense with his skill. We’re excited to add Trevor to our lineup”.

The first chance the Muskegon, Michigan native will have to suit up for West Kelowna will be Friday night when the Warriors visit the Centennials in Merritt.
