The West Kelowna Warriors were in action on Saturday, this time taking on the Wenatchee Wild at Royal LePage Place.
West Kelowna was cooking from the moment go, which led to a 7-4 win.
Damon Jugnauth got things started for the Warriors as he scored his third goal of the year in the first period. Only one minute later, Nick Roukounakis notched one home to put the Warriors up two.
In the second period, Feliz Trudeau scored on the power play to make it 3-0. Chase Dafoe would score next to give West Kelowna a 4-0 lead.
After going up 5-0, the Wild scored three unanswered goals. Trudeau would score his second of the game in the third to halt any chance of a comeback.
Dafoe scored an empty-netter to seal the win for the Warriors, who were outshot 34 to 28 on the night.
Up next, West Kelowna takes on the Cranbrook Bucks at home Sunday. Puck drop is at 2:30 pm.
