After a tough 6-1 loss in game one against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Friday, the West Kelowna Warriors bounced back in game two on Saturday, but not without a fight from their foes.

The Silverbacks got the scoring started when Nathan Mackie scored his third goal of the playoffs 25 seconds into the game.
Salmon Arm held on to their 1-0 lead into the second period before Jackson Kyrkostas buried a rebound to tie the game.
Six minutes later, Jack Pridham added to the Warriors' tally to give West Kelowna a 2-1 lead.
After JJ Monteiro tied the game for Salmon Arm, Viggo Nordström scored a short-handed goal to restore West Kelowna’s lead heading into the third period.
Pridham scored his second of the night at the 7:18 mark of the final frame.
Less than a minute later, Salmon Arm cut the lead to one goal when Cole Cooksey scored his fifth of the postseason.

The Silverbacks received a gift from the Warriors later in the period in the form of a power play, making no mistake and scoring the equalizer on the man advantage.
The clock struck zero and overtime was needed for game two in West Kelowna.
It did not take long for a winner to be crowned as Carter Oakenfold collected the loose puck and scored his first career BCHL playoff goal for the 5-4 win.
The Warriors are back in action on Tuesday and Wednesday for games three and four, before returning to West Kelowna for game five on Friday.
