The West Kelowna Warriors are well represented in the BCHL’s final Three Stars of the Week for the 2022-23 regular season.

Forwards Jaiden Moriello and Rylee Hlusiak were named the league’s first and third stars of the week respectively, while first-round playoff opponent Thomas Tien of the Vernon Vipers earned second star honours.

Moriello and Hlusiak both racked up points in West Kelowna’s 14-0 win over the Merritt Centennials on Friday night.

It was a goal and five helpers for Moriello, while Hlusiak notched a pair of goals and three assists.

Each player then added a goal in a big win over Salmon Arm on Saturday night.

Moriello and Hlusiak finished the season with 55 and 51 points, good enough for first and second on the team in scoring.

They will be counted on as the Warriors get their playoff run going against the Vipers this weekend. Tickets for home games are on sale now.
