UPDATE: BC Interior girl, 14, 'safe and sound'

Police said she is "safe and found."

(Original story: July 16 at 3:45 pm): Police are appealing to the public for assistance in finding a missing teenager.

She was reported missing today after last being seen around 11:30 pm on Monday in Williams Lake.

The RCMP provided the following description of the missing girl:


According to police, the girl was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black camo pants with shorts over top and black Converse shoes, and was carrying a blue Santa Cruz backpack.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts, or anything that could lead investigators in the right direction, is urged to contact the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211.
