Penticton’s Peach Festival has gotten another hard dose of country added to its 2019 music line up with the addition of Black Mountain Whiskey Rebellion.

The rock-tinted collective has been listed as one of Rolling Stone’s “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know” and you’ll have a chance to see them this summer.

The group has been added alongside acts like Emerson Drive to the Peach Fest country night on Thursday, Aug 8.

“We are so pleased to have Black Mountain Whiskey Rebellion on our Peach Festival lineup. This band has Canadian Country Music Association award winners in it and has been gaining so much attention online,” said Don Kendall, Peach Festival president.

The group will bring their raw and rugged country tunes, immense prowess and infectious stage presence to the South Okanagan following a string of dates that include stops at the Calgary Stampede and the Big Valley Jamboree.

Hear hit songs like “Holy Smoke,” “Wolves at the Door,” self-titled hit “Black Mountain Whiskey Rebellion” and more, live this summer for free!
