Gord Downie tribute concert coming to Kelowna Community Theatre

Tragically Hip fans won’t want to miss this night of music.

Multiple musicians are coming together for a Gord Downie Tribute Concert on Friday, April 6.

Local Tragically Hip cover band, Paul Sexsmith and the Hip Replacements, will be performing, alongside nine other acts.

Those acts include Jimmy Leguilloux, Niki Martinus, Kartina Lawrence, Garrett Scatterty, Brad Krauza, Mike Brown, Rawle James, Anna Jacyszyn and a special mystery celebrity performer.

One of the biggest Hip fans in Kelowna, Mayor Colin Basran, will be emceeing the evening.

Tickets are $39 in advance through Select Your Tickets and will be $45 at the door on the night of the show.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Kelowna & District Safety Council Society childrens’ and seniors’ programs.
