Musician and philanthropist Pegi Young has died at the age of 66 following a battle with cancer.
Pegi was the former wife of fellow musician Neil Young, the two were married for 36-years during which time she toured as a back-up singer with the Canadian singer-songwriter.
She also released five studio albums of her own, the latest being 2017’s Raw.
Neil and Pegi, whose son Ben was born with cerebral palsy, also co-founded The Bridge School in 1986.
The institution helps children with physical and speech impairments, hosting an annual all-star benefit concert.
