Someone who bought a ticket in the Okanagan just got a whole lot richer.
The numbers for the BCLC Lotto Max have been announced, and though no one got the big prize, some ticketholders in B.C. won some major amounts of cash. Someone in the Shuswap just became a millionaire, winning the one of the $1 million Maxmillions prizes.
Meanwhile, a very lucky ticketholder in the Okanagan was one of three B.C. winners to win the Extra prize worth a whopping $500,000. The three winners are from Okanagan–Vernon, Columbia River–Revelstoke, and Ladysmith.
