North Okanagan RCMP are reminding drivers to fully clean the snow off their vehicles before they drive.

What seems like an obvious move for most seems to be lost on a few drivers, which RCMP discovered over the weekend.

A SouthEast District Traffic Services officer spotted a vehicle heading southbound on Highway 97 just north of Vernon on Sunday.

Not only was the man driving with snow covering most of his vehicle, but he was also driving 30 kilometres per hour over the posted speed limit.

The driver was issued a ticket for driving without due care and was forced to clean the snow off his vehicle before continuing his journey.
