Human remains found in the North Okanagan

On Saturday, October 21st, the BC RCMP confirmed that human remains were discovered in a search of a rural property on Salmon River Rd. in the North Okanagan. 

Investigators with the RCMP Southeast District Major Crimes Unit and Vernon North Okanagan RCMP confirm that the discovery was made at a property in the 2200 block of Salmon River Rd.

The RCMP and the BC Coroners Service continue to investigate the discovery of the human remains. Police say that the matter is being treated as suspicious at this time, and the Southeast District Major Crimes Unit has now taken lead in the investigation.
