It's finally Halloween weekend and there are so many spooktacular events happening all over the city!
The eighth annual HorrorFest film festival will take place this Friday at Habitat from 7-11 p.m. You can look forward to a night filled with gore as 10 local filmmakers will have their horror films shown.
Taking place this Saturday from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Peachland community centre will be the Peachland Halloween Spooktacular! You and the family can head down and enjoy some pre-Halloween fun with pumpkin carving, face painting, a haunted house and much more.
This Saturday night starting at 7 p.m. at the Central Sports club will be the Okanagan Roller Derby Association's Halloween Bout. This is the last game of the season and it's sure to be a terrorific time.
If you missed out on the ski swap last weekend don't worry: there is another one this Sunday. Come and drop off your new or used cross country ski equipment at 11 a.m., grab a bite, and be ready to shop for noon at the Telemark lodge. All proceeds from the event will be going to support the Telemark cross country junior race team.
