Kelowna is a city that is perfect for the person who loves supporting their community and is always on the hunt for great activities. With fun events happening every weekend and wonderful local businesses always opening their door to locals, it is hard to be bored in our beautiful city.

With that being said, it can sometimes be quite the task to try and find something new and exciting to do all the time. That’s where KelownaNow comes in.

You’ve seen our weekend edition of Now You KNow where we tell you about the few of the upcoming events, you’ve browsed our extensive events calendar and now, we want to show you some of the great places you can visit in Kelowna on any day of the week.

Our first showcase is the Kelowna Art Gallery. A veteran of Kelowna, the Kelowna Art Gallery has been in our downtown core for four decades and always has new and exciting things to see and do.

From four exhibition galleries showcasing the works of local artists, as well as artists from around Canada to a lab where locals can com in and create, the Kelowna Art Gallery is a great spot to visit if you’re looking to get creative.

The Kelowna Art Gallery is open from Tuesday to Sunday and has free admission on Thursday’s. Not only can you soak up the beautiful art and participate in classes with the family, but the gallery also plays host to numerous events from exhibition openings to galas.

For more information on the Kelowna Art Gallery, you can visit their website.

If you have a favorite place to visit on your own or take the family to, let us know so we can share it!
