The Big White Ski Club is bringing back their beloved dueling pianos event for the second year this Saturday in an effort to once again raise funds for its athletes.

The club’s fundraisers have become must-attend events in the last years due to using a variety of themes from a retro night to the now popular vegas inspired dueling pianos.

“It’s vegas style entertainment in Kelowna, these performers are hot off the stage of places like New York New York,” says BWSC president John McMillan.

When you look at the first three letters in fundraising the FUN stand out, when you do a typical fundraiser you get stuck making small talk and eating appies but we are trying to push the entertainment aspect with this one,” added McMillan.

The event was raved about last year bringing in over 500 locals and keeping 85 on the waitlist as everyone wanted a chance to watch these incredible musicians in action all the while supporting a great cause.

The pianists will battle it out for the crowd's favour and bills as attendees make requests and try bid their way to having their song played over others, as they sing and dance along to the music.

The BWSC has been around for nearly 50 years as a volunteer organization that helps local athletes discover not only their potential on the hill but to help them realize their potential and develop lifelong skills. Their annual fundraisers help with providing top notch coaches and top of the line equipment for the athletes in the program.

In addition to the excitement that the dueling pianos bring there will also be a number of other ways people can pitch in like an auction that features amazing prizes. From a wakeboarding package to a two night stay in Revelstoke, many community businesses have chipped in to help provide some worthwhile prizes.

Tickets are available on the BWSC website, and Eventbrite. The event will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday night at the Coast Capri Hotel.
