On Saturday afternoon the Landmark building community on Dickson Avenue welcomed their new neighbor QB Gelato, and only a half an hour after opening, they had a line up out the door.

The establishment is owned by Kevin Bojda and Victor Laderoute, and specializes in creating delicious, handcrafted gelato out of locally sourced, organic ingredients and based on what we’ve tasted, they're giving Italy a run for its money.

Bojda and Laderoute celebrated their grand opening by giving each customer one free scoop of one out of the 15 flavours of gelato on their menu, which included creations like Orange Blossom, PB&J and Holy Cacao (a fully vegan chocolate flavour).

Coming from a background in hospitality and event coordination, Bojda and Laderoute have made themselves right at home with this trendy and tasty business that is sandwiched between Dunnenzies and Landmark flowers.

The grand opening is taking place this Saturday until 10 p.m. and the establishment will regularly be open until 9 p.m. to better serve those of us who deal with those late night sugar cravings.
