Each weekend we'll compile a list of five or more things you need to know about. Whether it's community events, treats you have to try, killer sales or where to find some dance-worthy live music, we've got you covered on activities you need to KNow to make the most of your weekend.

Night Market

The very last Meadow Vista Night Market will be taking place this Friday night from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Kick off your last weekend of summer with local artisans, live music and honey wine!

Rockets Pre Season

Our boys are back on the ice this weekend starting off their pre-season against the Prince George Cougars and Victoria Royals at Prospera Place.

Get into hockey season a little early by taking in a game. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m. on both nights.

Denim On The Diamond

Give summer 2018 the send-off it deserves by soaking in its last bit of sunshine while surrounded by friends at Denim on the Diamond.

With live music, courtesy of some local talent and Kelowna’s own Chad Brownlee set to headline, fun games and an abundance of local vendors, this is the ultimate Kelowna focused summer shindig.

The event runs from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at King’s Stadium, tickets are available online!

Comedy for a Cause

Help get the KGH a new PET Scanner all while enjoying side-splitting comedy from some of Kelowna’s best comics.

Hosted at Dakoda’s Comedy Lounge this Saturday at 7 p.m., tickets are $20 at the door with all proceeds going towards the cause.

Dunbar Cycle Summer Series

The BC Downhill Series will showcase the best downhill mountain bike athletes in the province before they hit the national and international stage.

If you’re a fan of biking, you won’t want to miss the action this Sunday up at Big White.

Wine & Wags

What could be better than wine tasting? Wine tasting with your dog, duh!

The View Winery is welcoming you and your furry friend to sip, sample and enjoy the scenery with a beautiful hike up the Reisling Block of their property for just $10.

Funds from the event will be going to the ST Johns Ambulance Therapy Dog program. The best part? You can join in for all of September as the event will be back from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. every Sunday all month long!

Labour Day Picnic

Celebrate the long weekend with your community at the North Okanagan Labour Council annual Labour Day picnic.

Hosted at Mission Creek Park from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. the event welcomes a family-friendly afternoon in the park.

In addition to a BBQ lunch, you can anticipate live music, kids activities and giveaways.

To see a more comprehensive list of events taking place in our community you can head to our events calendar! If you would like the Now you KNow cruiser to be at your next event, send an email to events@kelownanow.com.
