10-week-old puppy stolen from Lake Country home

A Lake Country family is devastated after their puppy was stolen during a break and enter.

The RCMP was notified about the break and enter around 5 pm on Thursday.

Only one thing was taken, and that was the family’s 10-week-old long-haired Chihuahua puppy named Dash.
 

Someone broke into our home and stole our puppy. The RCMP will be issuing a press release but if anyone sees him pop up...

The dog has light and dark brown markings, blue eyes and is only around two pounds in size.

Dash’s owner, Chelsea Pawluk took to Facebook in hopes of getting the beloved dog back, asking people to look out for him potentially being for sale.

“The kids are absolutely devastated,” explained Pawluk, adding that Dash is “incredibly friendly and trained.”

Anyone with information on Dash’s whereabouts is urged to call their local police.
