UPDATE: Power restored for 1.7K BC Hydro customers in Lake Country

(UPDATE: March 24 @ 3:45 pm) - Power has been restored in Lake Country. 

(Original Story: March 24 @ 3 pm): - A motor vehicle accident has left 1,730 BC Hydro customers without power in Lake Country. 

The crash occurred east of Pelmewash Parkway at around 11:35 am on March 24, according to BC Hydro. 

Crews are on site, and it is estimated that power will be restored by 4 pm. 

The outage area stretches from Beaver Lake Road in Winfield north to Crystal Waters Road, and from Highway 97 east to Oyama Lake Road in Oyama.
