Once the first subject was transported to an ambulance, the PENSAR helicopter team flew over to Mission Lake where they found the second injured snowmobiler.

The injured subject was evacuated by helicopter to Kelowna International Airport, where an ambulance was waiting.

While all this was going on, PENSAR was also called to the Carmi area around 3:30 p.m. to assist in another rescue.

This time, it was three trucks and 11 PENSAR personnel responding to a man who had fallen into a building foundation.
