Easter holiday closures in effect for RDCO, Kelowna and West Kelowna facilities

The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) is advising residents of the Central Okanagan of several facility closures happening over the Easter long weekend.

The RDCO office on KLO Road will be closed from Friday, Mar. 29 and Monday, April 1.

Curbside waste collection across the Central Okanagan will not be impacted and all transfer stations will remain open with regular hours over the weekend.

The Glenmore Landfill will be open with regular hours from 7:30 am until 4:45 pm.

The Robert Hobson Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan  in Mission Creek Regional Park will be closed Sunday, March 31 and Monday, April 1.

Kelowna and West Kelowna city halls and municipal offices will be closed both Friday and Monday.

Parkinson Recreation Centre will be open with adjusted hours from 10 am to 3 pm on Friday and Monday, but it will be open with regular weekend hours from 8 am to 5 pm.

The City of West Kelowna is hosting three family skates over the long weekend at the Kim Lind Arena and more details can be found here.

The Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery administration office will be closed Friday and Monday. Cemetery gates are open throughout the long weekend from 7 am to 9 pm. 

All facilities will resume regular hours and operations on Tuesday, April 2.
