Fatal motorcycle crash in Oliver for the 2nd straight weekend

For the second straight weekend, a man has died after a motorcycle crash in Oliver.

Police and paramedics were called to the intersection of Hwy 97 and Enterprise Way just before 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The driver of the bike was travelling north when he lost control while entering a curve, went off the road and crashed through a barb wire fence.

He was transported to Penticton Hospital with serious injuries where he died early on Sunday.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and to protect his privacy.
