The local state of emergency issued on May 1 has now been rescinded as well.
“The OKIB EOC has put together a small re-entry info package to help residents,” explained a post from the OKIB.
“The package contains info on first re-entry steps, how to clean your home, where to dispose sandbags and more.”
Several homes in Parker Cove sustained significant damage when Whiteman’s Creek spilled its banks as a heat wave began in early May.
Sandy Harrison told KelownaNow at the time that the feeling of watching rushing water surround her home made her “totally sick.”
