Hi! My name is Piper and i’m looking for my furever home.
I was surrendered to the Kamloops SPCA when my previous guardian could no longer afford to take care of me.
I am looking forward to finding an experienced dog owner who will love me for the rest of my days.

About me
I am a lovable dog with a few asks for my future human. I need to have a home with no children, livestock or small pets.
I have a strong dislike for strangers and am very protective, so I may come across as aggressive towards new people when in certain situations. I am currently on medication to help manage this while i’m at the shelter.
I also have something called facial nerve paralysis. This condition does not have a prescribed treatment except for supportive care.
I will need my future guardian to help me avoid dry eye, because due to my condition I am unable to blink one of my eyes. I will need eye drop several times a day to manage this.
I can get easily over excited and tend to jump up. I will need a guardian(s) that can provide lots of exercise and outings. Some of my favourite outings include going for car rides! I also love toys, and you can always find me with a toy stuffy in my mouth. I have had some issues with other male dogs in the past but I have lived peacefully with medium-large female dogs.
