Hunter in Okanagan fined $460 for having loaded rifles in vehicle

Conservation officers have fined a hunter in the Okanagan. 

The hunter had two loaded rifles in a vehicle when found during inspections in Falkland. 

As a consequence, officers issued $460 in fines and seized both weapons. 

It happened on Oct. 13 at about 11:45 am.

The Conservation Officer Service said it has been “very busy” conducting inspections across British Columbia.
