Killiney Beach water quality advisory rescinded

A water quality advisory has been lifted for hundreds of homes along Westside Road. 

The Regional District of Central Okanagan consulted with Interior Health before rescinding the notice for the Killiney Beach Water System.

Turbidity levels in Okanagan Lake are back within acceptable guidelines, the district explained. 

The notice had been in place since July 22. 

It affected about 290 properties.
