UPDATE: Suspect in Steve-O show assault turns herself in, Lake Country theft suspect still at large

(UPDATE: Jan. 25 @ 1:15 pm) – A suspect wanted by Crime Stoppers for an alleged assault has turned herself in.

The assault stemmed from a Steve-O comedy show at the Kelowna Community Theatre at the end October.

The woman is no longer wanted by Crime Stoppers, however, a male suspect involved in a separate theft is still on the wanted list.

Crime Stoppers is looking to identify two male suspects involved in the alleged theft of two bikes from a Lake Country apartment complex’s parking garage.

The theft took place on Dec. 5.

The Lake Country RCMP say the two men are also suspects to an undisclosed crime that happened on Dec. 7.

(Original Story: Jan. 25 @ 1:15 pm) – The Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help with two unsolved crimes.

The first unsolved crime took place on Oct. 28 at the Kelowna Community Theatre during a Steve-O comedy show.

According to a news release from Crime Stoppers, a couple was asked to lower their voice during the performance. Two males began fighting and then a female allegedly began punching two women in the audience.

Police say she caused several non-life-threatening injuries to the bystanders and is now wanted for the assault.

Investigators continue to ask for videos of the incident to further the investigation. People can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 and reference file 2022-67847.


The second incident took place on Dec. 1 at a Lake Country condo building. Two suspects allegedly gained entry into the complex’s parking garage and spent over an hour casing out the parkade.

According to a news release, the male suspect returned on Dec. 5 with another man and allegedly waited for a delivery person to stop by so they could gain entry to the building.

Once inside, the men allegedly left with a GT Verb mountain bike and a Volt Yukon 750 bike. 

The Lake Country RCMP say the two men are also suspects to an undisclosed crime that happened on Dec. 7.
