UPDATE: Missing Lumby woman found after 2 weeks

(UPDATE: July 21 @ 3:15 pm) - The North Okanagan RCMP say they've located missing 32-year-old Samanta Christine Johnston.

(Original story: July 13 @ 7:50 am) - Mounties in Vernon are searching for a missing woman. 

Samantha Christine Johnston, 32, was last seen on July 6 in Lumby. 

Police said they have followed up on “several” leads and possible sightings but are yet to find her. 

They released the following description of Johnston: 

Mounties said they are “very concerned” for Johnston’s health and wellbeing. 

Her family have told police that it is unlike her to be out of contact for this length of time. 

Anyone with information about Johnston’s whereabouts is urged to contact their local police.
