UPDATE: Missing Okanagan woman found 'safe and well'

(UPDATE: April 14 @ 12:25 pm) - A missing Vernon woman has been found.

Police say 26-year-old Vanessa Vanderest is "safe and well."

She was reported missing in late March after last being seen at her Vernon residence on March 21.


(Original story: March 28 @ 2 pm) - The North Okanagan RCMP is hoping the public can help track down a missing woman.

Vanessa Vanderest, 26, was last seen at her residence in Vernon on March 21. Police did not specify where in Vernon she lives.

Investigators have followed up on several leads, but Vanderest remains missing and police are “very concerned for her health and well-being.”

The RCMP provided the following description of Vanderest:


Anyone with information on Vanderest’s whereabouts is urged to contact their local police or Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477.
