UPDATE: Missing Vernon boy found safe and sound

(UPDATE: June 13 @ 6:05 a.m.) - Kodi Klatt-McEachnie has been located and police say he's safe and sound.

The two-year-old was initially reported missing on Wednesday.

Vernon RCMP haven't provided any other details at this time.

(Original story: June 12 @ 9:35 p.m.) - Mounties have asked for help as they search for a missing child.

Kodi Klatt-McEachnie, from Vernon, was last seen on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. by his caregivers.

He did not return from an authorized visit with family.

Kodi may be travelling with family in a black 2007 Dodge Dakota pickup truck.

The RCMP also believes the family is associated with a 15ft white trailer that is used for camping.

Kodi's description is:

Mounties say they are “actively searching” for Kodi.
