UPDATE: Missing Okanagan woman found dead

(UPDATE: Oct. 31 @ 8:45 am) - Police have found the body of Carissa Caron.

Unfortunately, the 50-year-old Vernon resident was found dead on Wednesday.

She had been missing since Tuesday.

Police do not consider her death suspicious at this time and the BC Coroners Service is involved in the investigation.

(Original story: Oct. 30 @ 1:30 pm) - The search is on for a missing 50-year-old woman.

Vernon resident Carissa Caron was last seen on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Caron is described as a 5' 4" Caucasian female with brown hair and hazel eyes weighing 198 pounds. 

Anyone who has information on Caron's disappearance or knows of his whereabouts is urged to call their local police.
