UPDATE: Missing 55-year-old Okanagan man has been found

(UPDATE: Sept. 18 @ 11:55 am) - Michael Belliveau has been found.

RCMP confirmed today that the 55-year-old was located and is "safe and sound."

(Original story: Sept. 10 @ 8:45 am) - Michael Edward Belliveau was last seen at his parent’s residence on Westside Road in Vernon.

That was three weeks ago, on Tuesday, Aug. 20, and he’s now been officially reported missing.

North Okanagan RCMP have put out an appeal to the public for information in hopes of tracking down the 55-year-old.

He’s described as a 5’7”, 140 lbs Caucasian man with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Belliveau may be driving a light grey 1998 Dodge Ram truck with Alberta license plate BZS 6649.

Anyone with information on Belliveau’s whereabouts is urged to contact their local police.
