It’s almost time for cozy movie nights under the stars.

That’s right, the incredibly popular drive-in movie theatre in Enderby is gearing up for the start of the 2024 season.

Starting the first weekend of May, you can return to Starlight Drive-In Theatre for movie nights.

On Monday, movies for the 2024 season will be announced and tickets will go on sale for May 3-4, 2024.

The business reported that the 2023 season was a particularly challenging one due to raging wildfires, travel bans and smoky skies.

Last year, Starlight opened on May 5, and showed blockbusters like Barbie and Oppenheimer during the season.

Although dates have not been released yet, the Starlight website shows movies that you can expect to be able to see this Spring/Summer, including Dune Part Two, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Kraven The Hunter, The Garfield Movie, Despicable Me Four and more.

The iconic drive-in theatre attracts people from all over the Thompson-Okanagan. Located just south of Enderby, it’s a 20-30 minute drive from Vernon, Salmon Arm and Sicamous, and just under an hour from Kelowna.

Attendees will snuggle up their vehicles, often bringing with them blankets, pillows, fairy lights and more.

During the peak of the season, you can expect back-to-back showings that feature a kid-friendly movie early in the evening.

You can visit the Starlight website for more information!
